The Lloyd's Register Safety Accelerator is proud to be collaborating with Challenge Partners incuding two industry-leading port operators, Benugo, Sellafield Ltd. and National Nuclear Laboratory, for our sixth round of safety and risk Innovation Challenges.
Round 6 Challenges
Challenge 1
Digital solutions for safe working in confined spaces, specifically port-based crane legs.
Challenge 2
Digital solutions to prevent accidental entry to potentially dangerous confined spaces.
Challenge 3: Future industrial inspection technologies.
Corporate Sponsors: Sellafield Ltd and National Nuclear Laboratory
This challenge, set in conjunction with Sellafield Ltd. and National Nuclear Laboratory, seeks innovative digital solutions to complete remote inspections and to identify anomalies in industrial environments, specifically in ventilation ducts, to infer defects, cracks, corrosion and thinning of duct walls.
Challenge 4: Tracking, Detecting and Communicating Accurate Allergen Data in Restaurants.

This challenge, set in conjunction with the UK's leading independent hospitality provider, Benugo, seeks innovative digital solutions to enable accurate allergen tracking, detection and communication.
Challenge 5: Advanced analytics of maintenance, inspection & failure records of critical assets.
