Plug and Play Detroit, during their Batch 2 Expo, showcased the graduation of their third cohort from their mobility-focused accelerator program. Stellantis, together with the other founding anchor partners, BorgWarner, the Michigan Minority Supplier and Development Council (MMSDC,) and the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME,) contributed to the program by voting on the most industry-relevant startups from Plug and Play’s network to be admitted into the accelerator.

“At Plug and Play Detroit, we deeply value our partnership with Stellantis and their drive to innovate within the mobility industry. Stellantis is an excellent example of how to utilize Plug and Play and our global startup ecosystem to support in bringing new technologies and services to market. Their recent success with Plug and Play Detroit Batch 0 startup, HAAS Alert, in developing and implementing the Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS), as well as their success with California-based startup, Miles, in implementing Stellantis Miles, a rewards-based program for Stellantis customers, are both prime examples of the exceptional collaboration between the Stellantis team and startups to drive innovation quicker. We are honored to present our Corporate Innovation Award to Stellantis, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do next," said Brooke Rupprecht, Partner Success Manager at Plug and Play Detroit.

"On behalf of Stellantis, I would like to express my gratitude upon receiving this award. Through Plug and Play, we have connected with numerous startups and have been able to successfully execute proof of concepts (PoCs), leading to commercialization. We look forward to continually innovating, leveraging the Plug and Play network," said Trpko Blazevski, Global ICT & Digital Transformation - Manager of Digital Innovation
