Recarbon Joins Morgan Stanley's International Program "Sustainable Solutions Collaborative"

The Italian startup accelerated by Motor Valley Accelerator in the prestigious sustainability-focused program.

Modena, December 18, 2023 – RECARBON, a startup accelerated by Motor Valley Accelerator, has been selected by Morgan Stanley as one of the 5 winning organizations of the "Sustainable Solutions Collaborative," an international program dedicated to sustainability.

Morgan Stanley, a New York-based wealth management company, has chosen 5 emerging companies that will make up the new cohort of the Morgan Stanley Sustainable Solutions Collaborative. The objective is to address the world's most complex sustainability challenges through innovation.

The selected members in 2023 will each receive a prize of 250,000 dollars, along with a one-year partnership with Morgan Stanley to help them grow and expand. Moreover, they will join the community of groups selected in previous years, where companies taking the lead in accelerating projects in various sectors are featured, ranging from those providing technological solutions for climate change, to those developing innovative technological platforms and to those focused on reducing plastic waste.

RECARBON is an Italian startup based in Legnano, in the province of Milan, composed of professionals with extensive experience in product engineering, project management, and high-tech materials. The company creates innovative products from recycled carbon fiber waste, achieving up to 30% cost savings. The mission is to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the industrial reuse of carbon fibers and other advanced materials.

Motor Valley Accelerator, the leading Italian accelerator in the Automotive and Mobility sector, established on the initiative of CDP Venture Capital Sgr in collaboration with UniCredit, and Fondazione Modena, managed by Plug and Play, also as an investor, and with CRIT, to create relationships between companies and startups in the mobility sector.
