Plug and Play to Unveil Corporate-Startup Collaborations at Insurtech Expo 11 in Munich
MUNICH, GERMANY, January 19, 2024 - Plug and Play Insurtech will bring together startups, corporate partners, and industry pioneers at the Expo Day on January 31, 2024 in Munich to showcase the impactful results of collaboration projects between Batch 11 startups and Plug and Play’s corporate partners. With a focus on Open Innovation and Corporate-Startup Collaboration, the event promises stimulating discussions, insightful startup presentations, and unique networking opportunities.
Located in Munich, the Plug and Play Insurtech program has forged partnerships with prominent companies such as Generali, Versicherungskammer Bayern, Irish Life, and UnipolSai Assicurazioni. These collaborations have propelled innovation within the insurance sector, making the program a cornerstone for corporate-startup synergy across Europe.
Bi-annually, Plug and Play Insurtech Europe launches a comprehensive three-month innovation program, designed to facilitate the development of pilot projects and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in collaboration with startups and corporate partners. The program kicks off with a Selection Day and unfolds through a series of activities from mentorship to fundraising support throughout its duration. At the upcoming EXPO 11, the startups selected for participation in the Insurtech Europe Batch 11 Program will unveil the results of their collaborative efforts.
The event’s agenda has been carefully curated to address the most pressing challenges of the insurance industry. The lineup boasts esteemed speakers leading the charge in innovation and industry disruption, including Benedict Kalteier, Board Member Clark SE and MD Clark Germany; Lorenzo Cordin, Head of Digital and Open Innovation at UnipolSai; Tsubasa Hotta, VP and GM, International (EMEA & APAC), and Dorotea Kosiorek Head of Customer Success and Partnerships, EMEA at Tractable.
The startups from Batch 11 will take the stage to pitch their ideas and present their projects: AdviceRobo, Airrange, Calvin Risk, Clearspeed, European Car Xchange, Five Lives, Harmoney, Hubtype, LinkbyCar, LiveEO, Locket, Sarus, Spike Technologies, Yurtle, Weathermind.
