Plug and Play Japan Summer/Fall 2021 Summit Kyoto Report

KYOTO, JAPAN, September 16, 2021 -- Plug and Play Japan KK (Based in Shibuya, Tokyo, CEO: Philip Vincent, hereinafter Plug and Play Japan) held a Summer/Fall 2021 Summit (Demo Day) to present the results on their 3-month accelerator program under the theme of Health and New Materials.
About Summer/Fall 2021 Summit
Plug and Play Japan carried out the Summer/Fall 2021 Batch from June 2021 through September 2021 across eight verticals: Brand & Retail, Energy, Fintech, Health, IoT, Insurtech, Mobility, and New Materials. With 44 official corporate partners of Plug and Play Japan, we selected 91 Japanese and international startups.
At the Summer/Fall 2021 Summit Kyoto held on September 14, 20 startups from two verticals (Health and New Materials) showcased their results on the accelerator programs and introduced their cutting-edge technologies, services and products to potential partners, business leaders and the community.
Additionally, EXPO Startup Awards were granted to the startups which collected the largest number of votes from the audience, celebrating their achievements and great involvement to accelerate innovation. For more details, please refer to the following information:

Plug and Play names a demo day in each vertical “EXPO”, and startups in each EXPO that earn the highest score from the audience would receive an award.
The details of the award prize for this year are to be announced.
