Plug and Play Insurtech Europe Announces Startups Selected for Batch 5
MUNICH, GERMANY, October 6th, 2020 - Plug and Play Insurtech announces 18 startups joining the fifth cohort of their 3-month Accelerator Program “Insurtech Europe powered by Plug and Play.” The program aims at facilitating POCs and pilot projects between the selected startups and the program partners Generali, Versicherungskammer, RheinLand Verischerungen, Irish Life, Swiss Re, Munich Re Covea, Baloise, Unipol, Vienna Insurance Group and Wiener Städtische Versicherung, Achmea, Aflac, ADAC as well as Foyer.
Unlike many other accelerators, this program is focused on business development for growth stage startups, for which Plug and Play offers the services of the world's largest innovation platform including mentorship, venture capital and business development opportunities. Due to the constraints of COVID-19, the programs have transitioned to a fully virtual curriculum wherein the selected companies will be connected virtually to partners in private one-on-one sessions and have the potential to be featured in webinars hosted by Plug and Play. By introducing the world’s best technology startups to the multiple stakeholders on the platform, we drive the innovation activity of the entire insurtech industry.
