Plug and Play Insurtech Europe Announces 14 Startups Selected for Batch 7

MUNICH, GERMANY, October 4th, 2021 - Plug and Play Insurtech announces 14 startups joining the seventh cohort of their 3-month innovation program “Insurtech Europe powered by Plug and Play.” The program aims at facilitating POCs and pilot projects between the selected startups and the program partners including Generali, Versicherungskammer, RheinLand Verischerungen, Irish Life, Chedid Capital, Swiss Re, Munich Re, Baloise, Unipol, Vienna Insurance Group and Wiener Städtische Versicherung, Aflac, ADAC, AOK Bayern as well as Foyer.

Unlike many other innovation and acceleration programs, this program is focused on business development for growth-stage startups and scaleups, for which Plug and Play offer the services of the world's largest innovation platform including mentorship, venture capital, and business development opportunities. The program started with a hybrid Selection Week and will continue involving startups, innovation evangelists, and business units of the partners via virtual and physical interaction. By introducing the world’s best technology startups to the multiple stakeholders on the platform, we drive the innovation activity of the entire insurtech industry.

Plug and Play programs do not require any equity or fees from the startups, they provide them with a unique business development opportunity for free. This way startups and partners can ensure that Plug and Play will meet their requirements and establish valuable long-term business relationships with their network.
