Bloomington, Ill. (November 3, 2021) – GROWMARK, Inc. is honored to have received the Corporate Innovation Award during Plug and Play’s 2021 Fall Summit. Plug and Play is a global innovation platform that connects startups with their corporate partner network. The Corporate Innovation Award is presented to its most active and engaged partners who embrace Plug and Play's mission of open innovation and cross-collaboration.

"On behalf of the Plug and Play Supply Chain team, we are proud to recognize GROWMARK as a recipient of our Corporate Innovation Award for their continued dedication, engagement, and support of our program and its startups,” said Plug and Play Supply Chain Innovation Manager Alexander Ubaldo. “While COVID has posed challenges for most corporations and has limited their capacity to focus on new ventures, GROWMARK has not slowed down their efforts and continue to participate regularly in the majority of opportunities that the Plug and Play ecosystem has to offer. We look forward to continuing our partnership in the new year and are excited to see what new collaborations arise on their innovation journey.”

“We want to thank Plug and Play for this honor,” added GROWMARK Innovation Lead Brad Drake. “GROWMARK, together with its members, seeks to advance technology and innovation in the agriculture industry and our supply chain. GROWMARK provides differentiated value to startups due to our expansive, connected network and proven history of success. Our relationship with Plug and Play has yielded several mutually-beneficial opportunities in the ag and supply chain ecosystems.”

Plug and Play’s Fall Summit took place on Oct.19, 2021 and was the culmination of its Batch 9 Supply Chain Startup Accelerator, where 20 innovative startup companies graduated from a three-month program and officially became a part of the Plug and Play family. The hybrid event took place in front of a large audience of investors, corporations, angels, startups, and other potential partners.
