Our collaboration with Volvo Group began in April 2022 when the group connected with Plug and Play's startup ecosystem through its innovation lab. The partnership evolved when Volvo Group went on the journey of digital transformation and pursued interest in Plug and Play's supply chain program in Silicon Valley. The idea was to discover new technologies and expose the group to new service offerings within and outside of operations.

Partnering with Plug and Play
Volvo Group wasn't aiming to be the experts in everything - they were searching for experts to join their journey. One tangible benefit the group found is that they were interacting with startups and learning a lot from them. By working with Plug and Play, Volvo Group gained insight into how startups are transforming and approaching the market. Networking and working alongside other corporates was also a plus, as the company learned a lot from how other corporations are innovating and working with startups on their transformation journey.

- Met over 40 startups in relevant fields through four Executive Dealflow and two Selection Day 1-on-1 deep-dive meetings
- Co-hosted the Innovation Roundtable® event in August 2022, where 100+ innovation leaders participated from 50+ different corporations across industries
- Nicole Portello, SVP and CDO at Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks NA, participated in November Summit 2022 as a keynote speaker
- Co-hosted networking event with a group of 25 SVP&VPs and met over 15 startups and two corporate partners
