EDP is a global energy company. We are firm believers in Open Innovation and built an array of tools to support innovation sourcing and adoption. We organize global energy startup acceleration programs and through EDP Ventures, take equity positions in start-ups that have promising technologies with direct fit with our business.

The Innovation Enablement unit organizes Innovation Immersion programs in global tech hubs such as Silicon Valley, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing with the goal of exposing EDP executives to a fast paced tech rich environment to instill a sense of urgency, disseminate innovation and build the electric utility of the future.
