Michael is the Chief Revenue Officer and Partner of Plug and Play. He leads sales (~$100M) and corporate partnerships globally, with a client list of over 300 companies. Michael is also the Managing Partner of the Plug and Play Future Commerce Fund.
In 2013, Michael founded the Brand & Retail program, our first ever industry specific startup accelerator. Through this program, Michael has helped source and lead over 50 retail tech seed stage investments, including Honey ($4B acquisition by PayPal).
Michael is also responsible for market expansion, including launching our first offices in Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, and Africa. He also led our partnership with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a key pillar of our Sustainability practice.
Prior to Plug and Play, Michael was VP of Marketing at Zuli, a Bluetooth automation startup backed by Menlo Ventures and Logitech.
Michael graduated Cum Laude from Whittier College with a B.A. in Business Administration, a concentration in Marketing and International Business and distinction as Most Outstanding Graduate In Business Administration, Most Outstanding Student in International Business Concentration, and Presidential Scholar - Athlete of the Year.
