Cai Jinqing
President of Kering Greater China
Biography:
CAI, Jinqing started her career in 1993 in New York as an associate in a strategic consulting company. She then moved to Hong Kong to work for private equity fund management companies, k1 Ventures and Lark International Entertainment Limited, focusing on the media and entertainment industries. In 2002, she co-founded the PR firm New Alliance Consulting International in Beijing and managed the highly successful inaugural annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia. In 2005, Ms. Cai became the founding partner of Brunswick Beijing, playing a central role in the PR firm’s high profile cross-border transactions. In 2012, Ms. Cai joined the leading auction house Christie’s as the first Managing Director of Christie’s China. She was appointed President of Christie’s China in 2014 and then Chairman in 2016. Ms. Cai received her bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts and a Master’s in Public Affairs from Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs, Princeton University. She was born and raised in Beijing and was an undergraduate student at Beijing University between 1986-1989, before pursuing her education overseas. Ms. Cai is on the international advisory board of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and serves as a board member of Teach for China, a non-profit organization focusing on education inequality in China. In parallel with her new role at Kering Greater China, Ms. Cai retains a consulting role at Christie’s, serving as Chairwoman of the company’s Asia Advisory Board.
Angelica Cheung
Venture Partner of Sequoia Capital China; Founding Editor-in-Chief of Vogue China
Biography:
Angelica Cheung, Venture Partner of Sequoia Capital China, is regularly described as the most powerful person in China fashion, celebrated for leading Vogue China successfully for 16 years after launching it to instant success in 2005. She is renowned for her innovative ideas, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to move seamlessly between the creative and commercial worlds. Cheung’s in-depth knowledge of consumer patterns in China makes her an in-demand speaker and strategic consultant.
She is the Asia Ambassador for the British Fashion Council, BAFTA, the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, a senior advisor to several top international brands, and has sat on the judging panels of almost all the international design competitions. A notable influencer herself, she is active on Weibo, Instagram, Douyin and Red, with a loyal social media following of 7 million. She has received numerous awards, including the Achievement Award by the Asia Couture Association, Achievement Award by the Museum of Modern Chinese Art, Achievement Award by Advance (Australia) global alumni, Leadership Award by China Institute New York, Leadership Award by Conde Nast.
Angelica Cheung graduated from Peking University with degrees in Law and English Language and Literature, and has an MBA degree from the University of South Australia. She is married with a teenage daughter and is based in Beijing.
Marie-Claire Daveu
Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of International Institutional Affairs of Kering
Biography:
Marie-Claire Daveu began her career as a technical advisor to the cabinet of Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, before becoming Principal Private Secretary to Serge Lepeltier, Minister of Ecology and Sustainability. In 2005, she became Director of Sustainable Development for the Sanofi-Aventis Group. From 2007 to 2012, she served as Chief of Staff to French politician, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, working in various secretaries of state and then at the Ministries of Ecology, Sustainability, Transport and Housing. In 2012, she was appointed Kering’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of International Institutional Affairs. She sets out the strategy and ambitious objectives as well as implementing a set of best practices within the Group and the Houses. Today, Kering is a pioneer and recognized leader in sustainability. A French national, she is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences (ENGREF). She also earned a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in public administration from Dauphine University, Paris.
Katrin Ley
Managing Director of Fashion for Good
Biography:
Katrin is the inaugural Managing Director of Fashion for Good. She steers Fashion for Good’s global efforts to enable the daring invention and widespread adoption of good fashion practice by harnessing the power of innovation, practical action and cross-sector collaboration to drive the transition to a circular textile industry. Katrin brings more than 20 years of relevant industry experience in fashion and impact investing with her. She joined Fashion for Good from Pymwymic, the ‘Put your Money Where Your Meaning Is Community’ of European wealth holders who invest for impact. Prior to this, she was Managing Director within the adidas Group (U.S. and Netherlands) and a Principal within the Boston Consulting Group (Germany and Scandinavia) – with a focus on private equity, consumer goods and technology. Katrin was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and is the founding curator of the Amsterdam Global Shapers Hub. Her educational background includes studies at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and ESCP Europe Business School in Paris
Liu Meng
Head for Asia Pacific with the United Nations Global Compact
Biography:
Ms. Meng Liu is the Head for Asia Pacific with the United Nations Global Compact, overseeing over 15 country networks and operations across the region. Before joining the United Nations in 2007, Ms. Liu has worked for the non-profit and public sector across the US and in Asia. She was a fellow on Asian public policy with Harvard Kennedy School and book author of “Responsibility Changes the World-UN Global Compact Leading Business Revolution Worldwide”. Ms. Liu speaks regularly at global and regional conferences on the topics of corporate social responsibility, inclusive business, climate change, cross-sector partnership and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ms. Liu has been honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2015. Since 2020, she serves as a member on Global Future Council on Frontier Risks.
Lu Zhi
Executive Director, Center for Nature and Society of Peking University
Biography:
Professor Lu Zhi is a leading conservation biologist in China whose research covers multiple-disciplinary fields and deals with the complex sustainability issues for the Chinese society as well as promoting China’s positive influence toward the world. The field projects she leads include the ecosystem services of forests and grasslands, and natural history and conservation strategies of endangered species such as the giant panda and the snow leopard. In recent years, she focused on studying and practicing the mechanism of community-led conservation and opportunities of coexistence between human and nature in both rural and urban areas. In particular, she initiated various experiments testing conservation tools based on economic incentives, cultural value and policy improvements that may benefit local people from their conservation efforts.
Ma Jun
Founding Director of the Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs
Biography:
Mr. Jun is the Chairman of the Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs (IPE). The IPE is committed to promoting transparency around pollution issues in China. It developed the China Water Pollution Map, the first public database of water pollution information in China. IPE has expanded its work to create the Green Choice Alliance, which is a coalition of Chinese NGO organizations that promote a global green supply chain by pushing large corporations to concentrate on procurement and the environmental performance of their suppliers. Mr. Ma Jun became known as an investigative journalist, working at the South China Morning Post from 1993 to 2000. There, he began to specialize in articles on environmental subjects. He became the Chief Representative of SCMP.com in Beijing. In 1999, he wrote the book “China's Water Crisis”. He was named as one of the 100 most influential persons in the world by Time magazine in May 2006. In 2012, he received the Goldman Environmental Prize for developing an online database and digital map that show which factories are violating environmental regulations across China. Still in 2012, he made the list of Foreign Policy Top 100 Global Thinkers.

Ms. Rockefeller is a well-known figure in the world of art, philanthropy and sustainability.
Susan Rockefeller is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, artist, and conservationist. She is founder and Editor-in -Chief of Musings, a digital magazine that curates ideas and innovations that pave the way for a more sustainable future. Musings offers a portal to vetted products and brands that are pioneers in health, environmental, and social consciousness. Susan is also Editor for Entity Magazine’s Sustainability Vertical , an on-line digital platform reaching 21 million Gen Z and Millennial women. A longstanding philanthropist, Susan sits on the boards of Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, Oceana, We are Family Foundation, Unleashed, Southampton Arts Center, and Land and Garden Preserve. She is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and is additionally an advisor to Food Systems 6, MADE SAFE, Oceanic Global and Ohana & Co. In her film work, Susan is a Principal of Louverture Films and a member of the Film Committee for the Museum of Modern Art. Her own original films including: Bach Star Café, Food For Thought Food for Life, Striking a Chord, Making the Crooked Straight, and Mission of Mermaids, have aired on HBO, PBS, and the Discovery Channel.

Jane is currently serving as the Vice President of Erdos Holding Group, President of Erdos Cashmere Group, and General Manager of Erdos Fashion Co. and 1436 Fashion Co.. She graduated with Master of Arts and Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree from Cambridge University. Jane founded the high-end luxury cashmere brand 1436 in 2006, and has been managing and operating 1436 brand till today. Jane is leading the transformation of the world largest cashmere manufacturing system and also the well-known Erdos cashmere brand into a valued member of the fashion world. Before Erdos, Jane worked at Roland Berger Consulting serving multinational and Chinese companies in terms of strategy management and operation.
