Candace Denton

Candace connects larger corporations with strategic investment, business development, licensing, and acquisition opportunities within Plug and Play's startup community by way of individual introductions (deal review sessions) and events. Candace also develops acceleration programs that provide funding, corporate, and advisory resources to startups of strategic interest to a corporation.

Q. What do you like most about your work at Plug and Play?
A. I love the variety of brilliant people who are constantly visiting Plug and Play from all corners of the world. Never a dull moment at PnP!

Q. What experience, prior to Plug and Play, do you have that you would like for us to talk about?
A. Prior to Plug and Play, I held several positions in finance. At one point I was Series 7 & 63 certified.

Q. What business accomplishments are you most proud of?
A. I'm most proud of the corporate membership programs I've developed over the years that have streamlined corporations' access to our community. I'm also proud of the events I've produced over the years including CorporatePlay, MobilePlay, and Cloud @ Plug and Play.

Q. In your spare time, what do you most enjoy?
A. I love walking dogs and regularly volunteer at the animal shelter. I'm also a huge fan of the beverage arts--specifically wine and tea.
