Innovation Off the Earth: Carbon Capture & Utilization
CO2 is not only responsible for climate change and related adversities we face here on Earth, but also recognized by NASA as a high-risk issue for environment control and life support system & environmental monitoring for human spaceflight programs. Carbon capture and utilization technology may have a double usage for Earth application and for the human space programs.
In this webinar, we invited CASIS. (Center for the Advancement of Science in Space) to speak about how R&D efforts in the space sector can be leveraged for an innovative solution for a better future on and off Earth and vice versa.
Black Founders in Supply Chain and Retail
We were so excited to welcome you to our second part in our 4 part series of Black Founders in Supply Chain. This time we joined forces with our Retail sector of Plug and Play to help support black entrepreneurs operating in the world of tech innovation within the Americas.
For this cross-vertical event between Supply Chain & Logistics and Retail, we got to hear from incredible black-led startups disrupting these two areas.
Race to the Future: Innovation in Automotive Leasing
Auto-leasing is a billion-euro industry, but slowing auto sales and changing mobility patterns have taken a toll throughout 2020. Covid-19 will likely continue to depress revenues through 2021, but the impact will vary by segment.
Despite current challenges, many new players are entering the auto-leasing market, including FinTechs, independent leasing companies with digital channels, and automotive OEMs with captive-financing arms that are partnering with, or even building their own FinTechs.

On June 8th, we launched the Alliance To End Plastic Waste Innovation Platform in South Africa! The new office gives us the opportunity to expand the global partnership with leading startups and corporates and to leapfrog innovation for a more sustainable future.

Plug and Play Topeka Expo Day Batch 1
On June 10th, we hosted the graduation of the first Plug and Play cohort of startup companies in Topeka. This event was held at Firekeeper Golf Course of Prairie Band Casino and Resort, where 10 startup companies from the Batch 1 were presenting their innovative solutions in animal health, food safety, livestock biome, energy & sustainability.
Travel Expo Day Plug and Play Vienna
Our Vienna office hosted a bi-annual tech-trend Travel Expo Day showcasing new startup technologies, corporate pilot projects, curated panels and the opportunity to meet solutions that might solve similar pain points you have.
Smart Cities Expo Day Vienna
Smart Cities Expo Day Vienna was where the Corporate and VC Partners presented their focus topics and pilot projects with the most demanded startups globally. Check out what the Corporate Strategies of the Real Estate sector entail and which role Sustainable Urban Development plays post-Covid with a high-level panel discussion.
