Plug and Play announces an investment committee focused on the EMEA region

Plug and Play is dedicated to growing our footprint in the EMEA region and specifically increasing our investments. With the rapid expansion of the tech scene in the region and doubling of our locations in EMEA, Plug and Play is expanding their global investment activities by committing a focused EMEA Investment Committee (IC) that will empower their Ventures Team in over 20 different cities this year and more to come. The goal is to expand their operations in new geographical zones, increase the number of regionalized investments, and further support portfolio startups with their new milestones.

“We are excited to further strengthen our footprint in EMEA, by making even more investments and having a larger impact in this promising region,” states Seena Amidi, Co-Head of the EMEA region.

Plug and Play’s EMEA expansion began in 2011 and has grown ever since. They have offices in major hubs including Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Benelux, Morocco, Egypt, and the UAE, with plans to open in even more locations this year.

To support this growth, Plug and Play has announced their EMEA IC, consisting of Seena Amidi, Carolin Wais, Thomas Bigagli, Daniel Dilger, and Bob Rode. Through a careful selection process, Plug and Play’s EMEA IC combines expertise across different industries with diverse backgrounds as both operators and investors, and above all, a dedication to the success of each Founder.
