Plug and Play Tech Center has had an incredible journey thus far. Just in the past 2008-2009 year, we have helped accelerate close to 300 companies. We accomplished this:
- Through building their management teams with the help of our executives in residence program and our recruiting department
- Through helping 5 companies a month on average get funding
- Through helping companies with their whole infrastructure (real estate, data center, office support) while allowing them to focus on the core business
We feel Plug and Play Tech Center picks up the entrepreneurs exactly where the universities leave them off after a business plan has been created. We have created an ecosystem that represents very closely how Silicon Valley works. Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship Program has been created to share this experience with aspiring & established entrepreneurs, government officials, incubator representatives, corporate executives and entrepreneurship professors globally.
A selection committee consisting of representatives from top Venture Capital firms, Corporate executives and entrepreneurship experts from top universities will carefully screen select 30 participants for each session. Selection will be based on a number of factors including: background, leadership potential, and continuous commitment shown to entrepreneurship or entrepreneurial activities, interest in the high tech industry.
The culmination of this intensive session would be to be selected as the top 5 lucky entrepreneurs for the next year's PACT event. You will be given an opportunity to practice your elevator pitch in front of our Venture Capitalist partners and investment professionals and get candid feedback.
Our objective at PnP Entrepreneurship Program is to give young and upcoming entrepreneurs a chance to learn about the world of startups first hand through eyes of Silicon Valley visionary entrepreneurs, professionals, investors and professors.
The culmination of the program is a chance to present your elevator pitch before a group of institutional investors to get their feedback and advice.
The program will be limited to 30 students per session after applications have been approved and we will choose the best 5 plans to present at our flagship international expo PACT in the spring time and fall, the sessions in between will end in an investment forum.
5 Scholarships are available to a few limited and exceptional candidates!
