On October 9th, we will be announcing our two new Financial Services (FinTech, InsurTech, Digital Identity) and Smart Cities programs in Amsterdam.

These programs will be run as part of the Amsterdam Innovation District - an initiative by ING, Plug and Play and the City of Amsterdam - and has the objective to accelerate innovation for financial services providers by building an innovation platform for industry changemakers.

On behalf of Plug and Play CEO Saeed Amidi who will be hosting the launch event, we welcome you to join us in Amsterdam on October 9th at 11:00. We will feature keynotes, a panel of innovation leaders and industry-leading startups. This invite-only event is a great opportunity to see the state-of-the-art of startup technology and connect with Mr. Amidi (#1 Venture Capitalist globally), C-level executives and key industry innovators.

Plug and Play Amsterdam is a founding partner of the Amsterdam Innovation District. Amsterdam’s innovation district provides an infrastructure that enables and supports collaborative innovation, particularly in the fields of urbanization and digital identity. After the Plug and Play Soft Launch, we will continue with the opening of the Innovation District at 14:30 and you are cordially invite to join us there, too. You’ll hear about the latest in ‘collaborative innovation’ and, last but not least, the Mayor of Amsterdam Femke Halsema and ING’s CEO Ralph Hamers will officially open the district and… reveal its name, followed by a party to celebrate!
