Executive in Residence Program

Executives In Residence (EIRs) offer mentorship for entrepreneurs. EIRs are experienced executives and serial entrepreneurs who are excited about innovations and enjoy helping entrepreneurs avoid common mistakes and accelerate their journey to success.

EIRs have contributed to numerous startups at Plug and Play Tech Center. The following provides examples on how EIRs worked with startups.

• Act as sounding board for ideas and mentorship
• Clarify and focus business plan to capitalize on innovation
• Craft and refine presentation to VC’s for fund raising
• Create business model to generate revenue
• Prioritize market opportunities and define go to market plan
• Connect startups to his/her network for business development

EIRs assist startups in various roles, such as advisors or consultants. EIRs can also join the team if there is a mutual fit. EIRs bring their experience and expertise across a wide spectrum, including the following examples.
