Seena Amidi

Seena Amidi began his career at Baarzo, a startup that automated video tagging for digital content. Their innovative approach quickly caught the attention of Google, leading to Baarzo’s acquisition by the tech giant in 2014. Seena played a pivotal role in integrating the Baarzo team into the new ecosystem, ultimately helping power one of the world’s largest video platforms.

Following his time at Baarzo, Seena joined his family business, Plug and Play. Here, he continued to explore his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. Seena helped found the New Materials & Packaging and Food & Beverage startup accelerator programs in Silicon Valley. He partnered with large Fortune 500 companies and connected them with technology startups for strategic collaborations.

After the rapid growth of Plug and Play in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, Seena moved to Barcelona, Spain and started an MBA program at the EAE Business School. In 2020, Seena rejoined Plug and Play’s daily operations to expand and run operations in EMEA. He currently holds the position of Managing Partner EMEA.
